2010 Flyway Pubcast – Rick Vaicius

And we’re back! Andrew (Row Three) and I once again traveled to beautiful Pepin, WI to participate in the 3rd Annual Flyway Film Festival. This is my third year down there and once again the festival out did itself in its generous support it provided both of us along with all the filmmakers in attendance, and of course presenting some great films all weekend.

Rick Vaicius, director of programming for Flyway, also was nice enough to take time out of his busy opening night schedule to sit down with us for a few minutes to talk about the Flyway Film Festival and his efforts to bring such a unique and fun festival to the Midwest.

Also, I’d like to thank the Breakwater Gallery and Wine Bar for allowing us to hold the interviews there in addition to their already outstanding job of being a retreat for all of the filmmakers to hang out and talk film.

And keep in mind this is just the first of several pubcats that will be posted all week long here at Where the Long Tail Ends and Row Three. Hope you enjoy!
