Milwaukee Film Festival Awards

Part of the fun of film festivals is the awarding of prizes.The Milwaukee Film Festival Awards may make a large difference to one or more of the following emerging filmmakers. And, if nothing else, there’s a nice reception for everyone that has entered a film. A look at the awards winners and reception are below.

In addition to the Milwaukee Film Festival Awards handed out by jury, the audience awards are still upcoming and if you attend you have a chance to vote. And there’s still a chance to catch some of these awards winners at the festival, in particular, HALE COUNTY THIS MORNING, THE EVENING has a screening on Wednesday, October 31st at 4 pm at the Oriental Theatre. The 2018 Milwaukee Film Festival runs from October 18, 2018 to November 1, 2018. Information and tickets can be found at Milwaukee Film’s website mkefilm.org.
