Its been a couple weeks since I posted the last Coming Soon list, and I think I will stick to this bi-weekly format for the short term. Not enough changes happen on a week-to-week basis to merit weekly posts, so this should help keep things a bit more interesting.
I don’t have much time to delve into it, but their are a host of films coming out in spring that look incredibly promising. Expect plenty of One to Watch entries as I track down trailers and more info. Other than that, see you at the movies.

Nice, I was wondering when A Prophet would arrive. Too bad it will be after the Oscars; sounds like it’s a sure fire Best FLF nominee from France.
And bizarre that nothing’s coming out on New Year’s Day. Like at all – limited or wide. Has that ever happened before? Two weeks without a new release (12/25 – 1/8)? Personally I love it.

Its probably because of so many films opening or going wide on Christmas. It literally is close to 10 films, which is absurd.
It might also be because the 1st falls on a Friday. Perhaps all the releases are happening on the previous weekend so they will qualify for the Oscars?
