Because my imagination has seemingly run dry on this particular issue, I have decided to open up the process of picking a name for my Friday feature to everyone reading. If you can come up with something that humorously conveys the intentions of that column I’ll give you a free DVD.

You see in my part-time gig as a DVD reviewer for UGO.com I have the opportunity to watch a surprisingly large number of terrible movies.The problem is, I am far too lazy to throw them up on eBay once I am done watching them, leaving me with an increasingly large stack of DVD’s each week. So I decided that a monthly giveaway for readers performing some sort of menial task was as good a way as any to get rid of some of them.

So here is the deal, you send an email to matt.gamble@wherethelongtailends.com, put in the subject line “I want my free DVD!”, and then tell me your idea for the name of the feature. You have until March 31st to submit your submission and I will announce the winner a few days later.

It should be noted that I am not promising to use your idea, but the submission I like best gets a copy of a bad movie for free. Will I be giving away a terrible movie every month? No, sometimes it might not be half bad. Basically, the easier the task the worse the product. But don’t worry, just think of it as a game in which the only person who truly loses is the person who wins.
