This film is quickly starting to reach epic proportions, and scaling heights I couldn’t before fathom it could actually achieve in a mainstream comedy. Sure, the reveal of Jemaine Clement to be a man who believes he is the God Pan himself is one thing, having Steve Carell being nursed by a vulture is another. But it is the moments between Carell and Zach Galifianakis, teased at in the first trailer but focused upon more in the second, that look to be the type of bizarre raw comedy that will practically force me to watch this films hundreds of times over.

Oh please be as good as you promise, Dinner for Schmucks.

Seriously, the sequence where Steve Carell and Zach Galifianakis are shooting each other with mental bolts had me rolling.

Fresh off my recent One to Watch on Gentlemen Broncos, word has come down the grapevine that the trailer for the film is set to debut today over at Apple Trailers. The poster was finally released yesterday, and it is solid if seemingly unspectacular, the fact that the marketing machine for this film is finally starting to pickup is only good news.

The trailer is now up over at Apple Trailers. Initial thoughts are this is much different then I was expecting it to be, which isn’t a bad thing. And while Jemaine looks like he’ll be fantastic it looks like Sam Rockwell just might steal the film as a transvestite space warrior.

A movie that seems to have flown somewhat under the radar is the new film from Jared Hess, Gentlemen Broncos. A few teaser featurettes caused a bit of a stir last year, but nothing has shown up since, and with the October release date inching closer, it looks like any day now an official trailer should finally start making the rounds. But in anticipation of that day I thought I would post both of the outstanding teasers, which feature Jemaine Clement as the science fiction novelist Dr Ronald Chevalier.
