The entire Evil Dead Trilogy @ Plaza Maplewood Theatre

evil_dead_trilogyFrom what little I know the Plaza Maplewood Theatre is typically a second run theatre, but that hasn’t stopped them from booking a fantastic triple bill in November. That triple bill being the entire Evil Dead Trilogy, back-to-back-to-back. In case you are wondering, yes, they will be in order with what I assume will be very short breaks in between the films. Screening starts at 9pm, so expect to be there until the wee hours of the morning. But the best news of all? The entire event, meaning all three films (The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness for those who didn’t know), only costs $8. Eight frakking dollars. That is a heck of a deal on three great films. I just might have to make the trek out there myself. Anyone else with me?
