Thanks to Netflix sending out the wrong film from my queue I am a bit behind the eight ball when it comes to choosing which film to review for next week. Thus I see no other recourse then to fall back on one of the most insane and passionate film makers working today, Werner Herzog. A director who got shot during an interview and refused to stop. A director who tried to drag a ship over a mountain. A director who plotted to assassinate his leading man.
Thus I am going to review one of his slightly lesser known modern films, one based on a true story and starring Tim Roth and Udo Kier. Yes, next week’s film is Invincible.
Did I mention that he is a director fascinated by insanity in penguins?
