Matt, you know sometimes when you recommend a currently on-the-air television show to someone, and then the next episode sucks, leaving you with egg on your face as the people who tuned in wonder why you would possibly like the show. Well, I'm afraid to say that we recorded our next episode of Cantankerous last night, and I don't think we'll be winning any awards soon.

Jay's idiosyncrasies show up pretty regularly on the Film Junk podcast, but he does a great job of setting you up for the fall in Cantankerous. It's great stuff that I really enjoy listening too. Hopefully you guys start recording episodes a bit more frequently.

Matt, your post about Cantankerous was both unexpected and very enjoyable. We should hire you as a PR guy.

Your summarization of our episodes made me laugh. I guess it takes a different perspective to realize how strange I really am. The irony is that Jay is the talented filmmaker and musician, yet he shines the spotlight on my idiosyncrasies and makes me look like the comic genius. Or should I say "village idiot"?
