Cabin in the Woods Film Festival Podcast – Ep 9 – Prometheus

And we’re back! After several weeks of waiting and no less than 5 attempts to record an episode of the Cabin in the Woods Film Festival Podcast to replace a show that Angela (of The Film Confessional Podcast) and I already recorded three weeks ago, we finally give you the grand finale to our COUNTDOWN TO PROMETHEUS! With the shockingly titled Prometheus episode, in which we review, wait for it, Prometheus. Never saw that coming did you?

Of course, as we record these shows and Angela has become even more comfortable with publicly ripping on me for your listening enjoyment and we quickly discover that the conversational nature of the show means we diverge and digress with shocking regularity. Sure we discuss Prometheus with a decent amount of detail, but we also learn how I prepare to podcast, what kind of sci-fi movie Angela would really like to see, the post-apocalyptic devastation that has torn through Minnesota this summer and what sexual metaphor from Alien can Angela just not get out of her mind.

Oh yeah, and sex snakes.

As always, thanks for listening!

Opening Theme – Help, I’m Alive by Metric
Closing Music – Poison by Alice Cooper

Always a fun podcast. I’m up for Matt surprising Angela (and us) instead of diving into another series though. Lots of ground that can be covered.
