Cabin in the Woods Film Festival Podcast – Episode 5 – Cabin in the Woods

Posted on Apr 9, 2012 by | 0 comments

And we’re back! On this episode of the Cabin in the Woods Film Festival Podcast, Angela (of The Film Confessional Podcast) and I get back in the hot tub and talk about a horror movie that comes out this weekend, but we saw a preview of almost two weeks ago, that being Cabin in the Woods. Unbeknownst to you, this episode is actually the first one we recorded, long before Angela started hating my guts for forcing her to watch kids being set on fire, Japanese business men have needles shoved through their major organs and deranged serial killers eviscerating pregnant women. In my defense, I am an asshole, so its her own damn fault for not being prepared.

This is the final episode in this first series, so far Angela is at least allowing me to continue watching horror films with her, and so far I’m finding the podcast format a far more enjoyable way of disseminating her views on the movies. We’re always interested in feedback. We are trying to keep this to more of a conversational style than a true critique of the films. And of course, I’d always be open to suggestions for her to watch. Word of warning, torture porn and zombie films will get me yelled at and probably punched in the face.

As always, thanks for listening!

I review movies. I run a movie theatre. I annoy people. I let my dogs lick my face whenever they want. Sometimes I'm even a halfway decent human.
