And we’re back! On this episode of the Cabin in the Woods Film Festival Podcast, Angela (of The Film Confessional Podcast) and I continue our COUNTDOWN TO PROMETHEUS! Admittedly, the countdown is proceeding a bit slower than expected, but nevertheless we ramble on ahead. This time we dive head first into the third film in the Alien franchise, Alien 3. Now, this happens to be my least favorite of the series, as it is overly preachy, dull and rarely aims for to even be scary. It’s just sort of, there. Of course, for someone who doesn’t actually like being scared, that might be a recipe for success. Will Angela love it? Will it be because it isn’t scary? Or will it be because this is the only Alien film with a sex scene?
We’re always interested in feedback. But we are trying to keep this to more of a conversational style than a true critique of the films. And of course, I’d always be open to suggestions for her to watch. Word of warning, torture porn and zombie films will get me yelled at and probably punched in the face.
As always, thanks for listening!
