Oddly enough, I’ve seen the official one sheet and it is slightly different than what they touted online a week ago. They’ve changed the pool of blood that Chloe Moretz is laying in to more of a velvet carpet sort of look, and along with that extended the red coloring further out from the center and gradually blending it in with the black background. While I really like the blood, its still a very nice look to the poster and its very eye catching.
The other big change? Removing “From the Director of Cloverfield” from the top of the poster and inserting a tagline. What is it you ask?
Innocence Dies. Abby Doesn’t.
Let Me In opens nation wide on October 8th. Possibly to good reviews and probably to a small audience.

I love the original– and hence — was not stoke about the Hollywood remake. However, the movie has attracted lots of positive buzz. Now I am starting to become interesting with the remake; the studio is getting my money.
I can understand why Hollywood wanted to do the remake, I’m just glad they’ve seemingly done it in a way that means it will be a worthy follow up to the original.
Yeah, the buzz has been pretty solid on the remake. I’d be very happy if new Hammer is able to create a niche for themselves. Especially if they aim for a niche of literary horror, unlike the Saw movies.
