Triple Bill Tuesday (Week 8)

Bit of a serious week but what excites me most is I will finally get a chance to sit down and watch Fish Tank. After Andrea Arnold’s amazing and disturbing debut film Red Road, I’ve been eagerly anticipating her follow up film. As for why I haven’t gotten to it until now, partially it had to do with a lackluster trailer, and partially because I just haven’t gotten around to it.

In other news, I think I’ve figured out a way to more accurately calculate the cost of this feature, as the announcement of Hulu snagging up all of the Criterion films by the end of the year means I will most likely be adding an additional subscription service in the coming months, so it seems like I should simply include some line items at the end of the year for the total cost of the subscriptions. Seems easy enough.

I review movies. I run a movie theatre. I annoy people. I let my dogs lick my face whenever they want. Sometimes I'm even a halfway decent human.
